On September 20, 2025, Experience Japan, in collaboration with the Embassy of Japan as part of its ongoing Japan Month Celebration, conducted the Sakura Language Awareness Program (SLAP) at Hindu Vidyapeeth in Sonipat. The session was led by Mr. Jitender Mehta, President of Experience Japan, and was specifically designed for the school's teaching staff. The program highlighted the significant personal and professional benefits of learning a foreign language, with a particular emphasis on the Japanese language, given the increasing economic partnership between Japan and India.

Sakura Language Awareness Program (SLAP) session was conducted by Experience Japan at Doon Public School, Gohana on Tuesday, September 16, 2025. This initiative was part of the Japan Month Celebration by Embassy of Japan. The session, specifically designed for the school's faculty, was attended by approximately 45 teachers.

Experience Japan successfully conducted the Sakura Language Awareness Program (SLAP) at the Gateway Institute of Engineering & Technology (GIET) on September 9, 2025. This initiative was part of our ongoing efforts to promote Japanese language and culture among Indian youth, with a special focus on enhancing career opportunities through foreign language acquisition.

Experience Japan, successfully conducted the Sakura Language Awareness Program (SLAP) at GVM Girls College in Sonipat on September 4, 2025. This initiative, part of the wider "Japan Month" celebration with the Embassy of Japan, aimed to educate and inspire students about the value of learning a foreign language, specifically Japanese. The program's core focus was to highlight the burgeoning economic and cultural ties between India and Japan and demonstrate the professional opportunities that arise from Japanese language proficiency.

As part of the ongoing "Japan Month" celebrations with Embassy of Japan in India, Experience Japan successfully conducted a Sakura Language Awareness Program (SLAP) at Bright Scholars Sr. Sec. School in Sonipat. The program, held on September 1, 2025, was designed to introduce students to the benefits of learning foreign languages, with a special focus on Japanese.

On August 30, 2025, Experience Japan had the privilege of organizing a talk at the Gateway Institute of Engineering & Technology (GIET), Sonipat. The session, titled "Importance of Learning a Foreign Language," was delivered by Dr. Janashruti Chandra, a distinguished Associate Professor from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Delhi. The event was a success, with a large number of students in attendance who showed keen interest in the topic. The talk aimed to highlight the academic, professional, and personal advantages of acquiring foreign language skills in an increasingly globalized world.

Experience Japan was delighted to host a special Onigiri making workshop on Sunday, August 3, 2025, in association with the renowned Japanese restaurant, Kuuraku. The event, held at our premises in Sonipat, brought together students from various cities for an immersive and delicious dive into Japanese culture.

G.D. Goenka International School, Bhimtal (Uttarakhand), in collaboration with Experience Japan, proudly hosted "Japan Day" on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at its vibrant campus. This immersive event aimed to provide students with a unique opportunity to engage with and explore the rich tapestry of Japanese language and culture.

Experience Japan and Takumi - The Asian Kitchen hosted a successful Sushi Making Workshop on June 22, 2025, at Alpenglow School, Sonipat. 25 participants learned to make Futomaki and Uramaki from a Takumi chef, after an intro to Japanese food by Mr. Jitender Mehta. Attendees enjoyed making and tasting their own sushi! A huge success promoting Japanese culture.

"Kizuna Katha 2025," the 5th National Level Essay Writing Competition, successfully concluded its online phase on May 10, 2025. Organized by Experience Japan, the event garnered an overwhelming response from students nationwide, inviting them to delve into the unique bond between Japan and India through the art of essay writing. The competition was open to students from Grade 4 to Grade 12, categorized to ensure age-appropriate topics and word limits.

From 4 May to 18 May 2025, Experience Japan successfully conducted a special weekend-only batch of our introductory Japanese language and culture course, titled “Sakura.”
A total of 19 students from prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) participated in this course. These students represented a diverse mix of campuses, including IIT Madras, IIT Roorkee, IIT Patna, IIT Delhi, IIT Jodhpur, IIT Mandi, IIT Varanasi, IIT Mumbai, and several others.

Experience Japan conducted an Origami Workshop for the enthusiastic students of Delhi Public School International, Saket, New Delhi. Held on Thursday, 3rd April 2025, this interactive session aimed to introduce the fascinating art of Origami to young minds, showcasing its practical applications and fostering creativity and precision. The workshop was a vibrant and engaging experience, leaving a lasting impression on both the students and the Experience Japan team.

Experience Japan, in collaboration with Sri Vishnu Educational Society (SVES), Hyderabad, successfully conducted the Sakura Language Awareness Program (SLAP) from March 10th to March 14th, 2025. This online program aimed to introduce students of SVES to the Japanese language and culture, highlighting its relevance in today's globalized world and exploring potential career opportunities.

The culmination of the prestigious "Japan On Canvas 2024" national painting competition was marked by a grand Award Ceremony held on Friday, January 17th, 2025, at Rishihood University, Sonipat. This ceremony served as a platform to celebrate the outstanding achievements of the young artists and recognize their remarkable talent.

Experience Japan successfully conducted a comprehensive Japanese Language training session for the employees of Hayakawa Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. on Saturday, December 28, 2024. The session was expertly led by Mr. Jitender Mehta, a seasoned language instructor.

The exhibition was inaugurated on November 23, 2024, by esteemed guests Ms. Maho Hakamata (3rd Secretary - Embassy of Japan) and Mr. Koji Sato (Director General - Japan Foundation) at the prestigious Japan Foundation, New Delhi.

Introduction: The “Japan On Canvas 2024” Painting Exhibition, organized by ‘Experience Japan’, was inaugurated on 11 October 2024 by Rajan Shripad Fulari, Dean of the School of Visual Art at the World University of Design. The event was graced by several distinguished guests and invitees, making it a memorable occasion.

Japan On Canvas 2024 marks the 10th consecutive year of this prestigious competition and it’s a part of the ‘Japan Month’ Celebration by ‘Embassy of Japan’, which was open to students from Grade 4 to Grade 10, held from 1 July to 30 August 2024.

‘Experience Japan’ organized the 'Chalo Japan' program - a cultural initiative by ‘Japan Foundation’ at Bright Scholars Sr. Sec. School, Sonipat, on August 8, 2024 (Thursday). The event was conducted by Ms. Chiaki Suzuki (Japanese Language Advisor - Japan Foundation) and her team.
