Experience Japan is proud to announce the successful completion of our premium, short-term introductory Japanese language and culture course, "Sakura." Held from 22 June to 26 June 2026, this intensive course was meticulously designed to bridge cultural gaps and provide a robust foundation for students aspiring to learn Japanese.

As a leading provider of Japanese language classes in India, Experience Japan attracted a diverse cohort of 33 students from all across India for this special batch, further solidifying our position as a premier institute for cross-cultural education in South Asia.

Experience Japan conducted the 6th National Essay Writing Competition - KIZUNA KATHA 2026 for students of grade 4 - grade 12 from all across India. This competition was held from 1 April - 7 May 2026. 2149 students from 168 schools from all across India participated in this competition. Jury shortlisted 27 awards (9 awards from each category). Birla Public School Kishangarh and Springdales School Delhi achieved the position of Star School Award.

From 1 June to 5 June 2026, Experience Japan successfully conducted a specialized, high-impact batch of our introductory Japanese language and culture course, titled “Sakura.” This exclusive training program was delivered on behalf of one of our esteemed Japanese associate organizations, aiming to equip top-tier Indian talent with foundational linguistic skills and cross-cultural competence.

Experience Japan is proud to announce the successful completion of the “Sakura” Introductory Japanese Language and Culture Course, conducted from 6 April to 10 April 2026. This intensive program was specially curated for a prestigious Japanese associate, aiming to equip high-caliber Indian engineering talent with the linguistic and cultural tools necessary for professional success in Japan.

The program saw participation from 14 elite students representing India’s premier technical institutions.

Experience Japan is proud to announce the successful completion of 'SAKURA - An Introductory Course in Japanese Language,' which took place from 23 March to 27 March 2026. This intensive five-day program was designed to provide participants with a comprehensive window into the world of Japanese communication and traditions.

On February 20, 2026, Experience Japan reached a significant milestone in its educational outreach by conducting the Sakura Language Awareness Program (SLAP) at the Gateway Institute of Engineering & Technology (GIET). This specialized session was designed to bridge the gap between technical education and global career readiness.

On February 19, 2026, Govt. College for Women, Sonipat, hosted an insightful guest lecture titled "Japanese Language and Its Historical Evolution." The session was delivered by Mr. Jitender Mehta, President of Experience Japan, an organization dedicated to fostering Indo-Japanese cultural and educational ties.

The lecture aimed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the linguistic journey of the Japanese language, moving beyond basic communication to explore its deep-rooted historical transformations.

On 14 February 2026, Experience Japan successfully conducted a specialized session under its flagship Sakura Language Awareness Program (SLAP) at Venkateshwara World School, Meerut. The event featured Mr. Jitender Mehta, President of Experience Japan, as the guest speaker.

The primary objective of this session was to advocate for the benefits of multilingualism—specifically the Japanese language—and to provide students, parents, and educators with a clear roadmap for academic and professional success through Indo-Japanese collaboration and motivate young students to learn Japanese language.

Experience Japan successfully organized a specialized "Meeting cum Workshop" for Japanese language educators using Nihongo Rocks - Text Book at the Japan Foundation, New Delhi. The event brought together teaching professionals to align on the Nihongo Rocks curriculum, share innovative pedagogical practices, and strengthen the network of Japanese language education in the Delhi-NCR region.

Experience Japan successfully organized and conducted the Award Ceremony of Japan On Canvas 2025—the 11th National Painting Competition—on January 15, 2026, at the prestigious Constitution Club of India, New Delhi. The event served as the culmination of a nationwide initiative to foster cultural ties and artistic expression between India and Japan, celebrating the creativity of young minds from across the country.

On December 25, 2025, Experience Japan successfully curated a Japanese Cultural Stall at the "Splendour" Carnival hosted by Bright Scholars School. The initiative aimed to bridge the cultural gap between India and Japan, offering students and visitors a hands-on experience of Japanese traditions, aesthetics, and educational values.

On November 30, 2025, the Experience Japan team (Ms. Priyanka) successfully conducted a highly engaging Origami Workshop at the annual DAMRU Fest hosted by Rishihood University. This collaboration proved to be a significant success, drawing hundreds of enthusiastic students and visitors eager to explore the delicate art of Japanese paper folding. The workshop served as a vibrant cultural centerpiece of the festival, reinforcing Experience Japan's commitment to promoting Japanese arts and traditions within India and highlighting the value of cross-cultural partnership with leading educational institutions.

Experience Japan proudly announces the phenomenal success of the 3rd Exhibition of the 11th Edition of its flagship national art competition, Japan On Canvas 2025. The prestigious exhibition was successfully hosted at the World University of Design (WUD), Sonipat, from November 14 to November 20, 2025, attracting educators, artists, and students eager to immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of Japanese Culture and Japanese Art. The event served as a vibrant testament to the creative synergy between India's youthful talent and the timeless elegance of Japan.

Experience Japan is proud to announce the monumental success of the 2nd Exhibition of the 11th Edition of its flagship event, "Japan On Canvas 2025." This prestigious cultural showcase was hosted at the esteemed Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) - Pilani, Rajasthan, commencing on 8 November 2025, as a key highlight of their annual cultural festival, 'OASIS 2025.'

Experience Japan is delighted to announce the resounding success of our 'Origami Workshop,' conducted in collaboration with the prestigious 'OASIS Fest' organized by the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani - Rajasthan. Held on November 9th, 2025, this cultural activity became a vibrant hub of creativity, catering to enthusiastic visitors and festival attendees.

The exhibition was formally inaugurated on November 1, 2025, by our Chief Guests, Maj. Gen. Sh. Pramod Kumar Saighal and Mr. Koji Sato (Director General - Japan Foundation, New Delhi). Their presence set an inspiring tone, highlighting the importance of cultural diplomacy through youth engagement. The ceremony was also distinguished by the attendance of guests including Mrs. Saighal, Mr. Rajesh Sharma (Artist and JOC 2025 Jury), Mr. Prince Sharma (Canada Embassy), and Mr. Rakesh Sharma (CBSE Subject Expert- Mathematics).

The 11th edition, Japan On Canvas 2025, was held from 1st July to 30th August 2025, as part of the ‘Japan Month’ celebration by the Embassy of Japan. This year, the competition was open to students from Grade 4 to Grade 10. We are delighted to share that 4876 entries were received from 206 schools across India. After a rigorous evaluation process, 225 artworks were shortlisted for awards.
