About SLAP

The Sakura Language Awareness Program (SLAP) is designed to promote awareness regarding the personal and professional advantages of learning a foreign language. The initiative aims to help participants recognize that acquiring proficiency in additional languages not only enhances cognitive and cultural understanding but can also open up diverse career opportunities, potentially leading to improved job prospects, higher positions, and better remuneration.

While SLAP encourages the learning of foreign languages in general, it places particular emphasis on the Japanese language. This focus is rooted in the strong cultural, diplomatic, and economic ties between India and Japan. Japan is one of India’s most significant partners in industrial development and continues to offer employment opportunities to thousands of Indian professionals across India, Japan, and other countries.

Through this program, attendees are introduced to the scope and scale of Japanese investments and projects in India, the presence of Japanese companies, and the availability of scholarships and academic collaborations. • Collaborative Hosting:
  The program is organized in collaboration with educational institutions, community organizations, and other strategic partners, enabling them to host SLAP sessions for their students, faculty, and staff members.

• Interactive Format:
  Each session is designed to be interactive and engaging, encouraging active participation and discussion among attendees.

• Certification:
  Upon successful completion of the 1.5-hour program, each participant will be awarded an e-certificate issued by Experience Japan, recognizing their participation and awareness in the field of foreign language learning, with a focus on Japanese.

Our Experience

Experience Japan has successfully conducted similar programs for the past three years, reaching over 8,000 individuals. Our experience includes developing and delivering engaging language and cultural workshops, collaborating with educational institutions and community organizations, and gathering positive feedback from participants.
