On December 25, 2025, Experience Japan successfully curated a Japanese Cultural Stall at the "Splendour" Carnival hosted by Bright Scholars School. The initiative aimed to bridge the cultural gap between India and Japan, offering students and visitors a hands-on experience of Japanese traditions, aesthetics, and educational values.
Distinguished Guests and Leadership
The event was graced by eminent personalities who showed a keen interest in the fusion of Indo-Japanese culture.
Chief Guest: Shri Satpal Brahmachari Ji, Honourable Member of Parliament (MP), Sonipat.
Guest of Honour: Brigadier O.P. Choudhary (VSM).

Key Highlights & Activities
The Experience Japan stall served as an immersive cultural hub, featuring a variety of interactive sessions:
1. The Art of Kimono Wearing
Visitors had the unique opportunity to learn about and drape the Kimono, Japan’s iconic traditional garment. This session allowed participants to appreciate the intricate craftsmanship and the cultural etiquette associated with Japanese attire.
2. Traditional Japanese Games: Kendama
The Kendama (a traditional wooden skill toy) was a major attraction for the youth. Our team demonstrated the focus and discipline required to master this game, promoting cognitive coordination and patience.
3. Japanese Green Tea Tasting
An authentic Green Tea Tasting Session was organized to introduce the palate to the subtle, earthy flavors of Japan. This provided a glimpse into the "Way of Tea" (Chado), emphasizing mindfulness and hospitality.
4. Seminar on the Japanese Education System
Beyond aesthetics, we focused on intellectual exchange. A dedicated talk was held regarding the Japanese Education System, highlighting its emphasis on character building, cleanliness, and collective responsibility—values that resonated deeply with the educators and parents present.
Strengthening Indo-Japanese Bonds
The presence of the Honourable MP, Shri Satpal Brahmachari Ji, and Brigadier O.P. Choudhary (VSM) underscored the growing importance of cultural diplomacy at the grassroots level. Their interaction with our team and their appreciation of Japanese customs served as a powerful testament to the strengthening ties between our two nations.
