Experience Japan conducted the Sakura Language Awareness Program (SLAP) at Hindu Vidyapeeth, Sonipat on Sept 20, 2025, as part of Japan Month celebrations with the Embassy of Japan. Led by Mr. Jitender Mehta, the session highlighted the benefits of learning Japanese. Around 45 teachers attended.

Experience Japan, in collaboration with Kuuraku, hosted an Onigiri-making workshop on 3rd August 2025 at our Sonipat premises. Experience Japan and Takumi - The Asian Kitchen hosted a successful Sushi Making Workshop on June 22, 2025, at Alpenglow School, Sonipat. 25 participants learned to make Futomaki and Uramaki from a Takumi chef, after an intro to Japanese food by Mr. Jitender Mehta. Attendees enjoyed making and tasting their own sushi! A huge success promoting Japanese culture.

"Kizuna Katha 2025," Experience Japan's 5th National Essay Writing Competition, was a resounding success! From April 1st to May 7th, 2025, 1481 students from 152 schools nationwide explored Japan-India relations through essays. This online event, for Grades 4-12, encouraged diverse topics from "Friendship Story" to "Cultural Diplomacy." Experience Japan recently conducted the “Sakura” course (4–18 May 2025), introducing 19 IIT students to Japanese language and culture. After completing the course, all participants were selected for a 2-month internship in Japan, departing on 24 May. A step toward global learning and cultural exchange!
