The 'Experience Japan' initiative held a Japanese Language and Cultural Program at GIET - Sonipat, in collaboration with the Japan Foundation New Delhi. The event was a significant opportunity for students to immerse themselves in Japanese language and culture, highlighting the importance of cross-cultural communication and the prospects it holds for future careers.

Program Details:

The session commenced with Mr. Jitender Mehta, President of Experience Japan, who provided an insightful introduction to the myriad benefits of learning a foreign language. He emphasized the career opportunities available for experts in foreign languages, setting a motivational tone for the event.

 

This was followed by an engaging quiz on Japan and the Japanese language, designed to enlighten students about the unique aspects of Japanese culture and linguistics. The quiz served as an interactive medium to foster student interest and participation.

 

Highlight of the Event:

A notable feature of the program was the Japanese language learning session conducted by Ms. Chiaki Suzuki, Japanese Language Advisor from the Japan Foundation, and her team. The session was described as 'amazing' by participants, who experienced firsthand the nuances of learning Japanese.



 

Conclusion:

The event concluded with inspiring words from Dr. Vinay Singhal, Principal of GIET, who addressed the students with a motivational speech. In a gesture of appreciation, Dr. Singhal presented tokens of love and gratitude to the esteemed guests, marking the end of a successful cultural exchange.
